Recovery Stories

Before: By the age of 15 I was hooked on Oxycotin and being introduced to methamphetamines. That was the beginning of the long road of my drug abuse. Because of my addiction, I gave up on life, left my husband and my two little girls. I didn’t care about anything or anybody. I was involved in a high speed pursuit with law enforcement, which led to an accident. The driver fled the scene and I was arrested and charged with 6 felonies.

After: Through Teen Challenge I have discovered that it’s not about religion but it is about a relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that He chose me and He loves me. He has called me to be both a godly woman and mother. So what I thought was the worst year of my life has ended up being the best and I have a new beginning.
